Donate to Provide Free Mental Health Services in our Community
The Mental Health Association of Central Florida is honored to present at “Meaningful Conversations” presented by EmpireWorks and friends.
MHACF presents or exhibits at more than 100 community events per year in an effort to make people aware of our mission and the programs we provide.
MHACF is entirely funded by grants and donations and all of the services we provide to the community are free.
Last year we:
* Provided free referrals to Mental Health Services to 1,538 people via our Connection Program.
* Delivered free therapy, medication management, and other support at our Outlook Clinic which received 4,023 patient visits.
* Represented the best interests of 511 patients at Behavioral Health Hospitals who were hospitalized under Florida’s Baker Act.
* Hosted 7 different peer support groups including Women’s Support, Women’s Support in Spanish, Sexual Trauma Support, Men’s Support, Grief Support, Suicide Support, Processing Support, Meditation and Mindfulness.
